Worldwide Decrease of scrap prices
After scrap price ralley starting from beginning of 2008 and lasting until mid of July, prices have been cooled down significantyl by 50,00 eur/mt - up to 100,00 eur/mt depending on scrap item type.
This development is due to the usual quiet month of July and August where most of the big mills, automotive factories and suppliers are on holiday.
Furthermore stock yards of stock keepers and scrap dealers are full.
Prices in South East Asia have been decreased by 60,00 USD/MT. [Read more]
